Monitoring and Evaluation
All programs developed by LPP are constantly monitored in order to identify challenges or problems. By doing this, the staff and Regional Coordinators can provide guidance and corrective measures in a timely manner. In the event that compliance with LPP requirements is not achieved over a determined period of time, a decision can be made to discontinue their involvement in the LPP network.
The Program Coordinator and Regional Coordinators visit each library and use an electronic tablet to record information gathered from a comprehensive list of questions and interviews. This information is automatically uploaded via the Internet and is accessed by LPP staff who use it to evaluate the library’s performance and to formulate short- and medium-term strategic plans.
