Performance and Impact

Performance and Impact

In 2017, LPP conducted a baseline study for the first time in 20 years. In collaboration with a highly-respected consulting organizaiton, LPP obtained a detailed report of “impact indicators.” This data has provided the staff with a detailed profile of the characteristics and performance of each library.

Since then, year after year, LPP has used questionnaires to gather new data from the perspective of library users, families of users, those in charge of libraries, authorities responsible for libraries, and Regional Coordinators. This has allowed the staff to assess strengths as well as identify areas for improvement in each library. From this information, a graph has been generated that shows the comparative performances between libraries and the percentage of compliance in terms of work plan goals and fulfillment of the terms of collaboration. This tool also gives librarians valuable feedback and helps to motivate them to increase their performance in a kind of “healthy competition.”
