Regional Workshops

Regional Workshops

Regional workshops are provided as a follow-up to the Annual Conference. Their objective is to reinforce and expand the knowledge acquired in previous workshops and to resolve questions and challenges that library managers might experience in the months following the Annual Conference.

Unlike the workshops held at the Annual Conference, these meetings involve a smaller number of participants, approximately 30 people per workshop. Since the groups are made up of individuals from the same region, who often share similar issues and contexts, LPP can give more personalized advice and follow-up to library managers; sometimes the content of the workshop differs, based on the region’s specific context and needs.

Three regional workshops are held each year and starting in 2020, they will serve as a launching pad for new reading promotion strategies — Ruta Literarias, puppetry, and storytelling programs.
